Re: Can o' worms time - I need suggestions for a shoulder bag

Take a look at the Tenba Messenger Larger Photo Bag.

I purchased one last year and love it, able to open with just the top zipper and a lot of pockets.

If you have any camera stores around you take a look at it first, that's what I did then just ordered it on-line.

The Nikon camera bag I had gotten for the D-70, worked good for me until it died. The replacement is an D-800E and is too large for the bag, and I did add a couple lenses. I did find a bigger bag but I really only purchased it as I needed it now.

Most of the bags I saw did not have sufficient room or weren't user friendly or just gold plated$$$. Even so I have the same complaints, and the new bag only has two small pockets covered by the main flap!

I still can't find a camera case I like for the D800, only cheap or the Nikon Case for $$$.
