    my other hobby

    that doesn't pay either ;) but hey it's my other form of art

    I was pretty happy with how this turned out... it's baby shower cake for a friend who has been thru some UNBELIEVABLE life situations (in three years lost a husband, a son---in a car accident and remarried and lost their first child at 4 months--just a year ago) she's tickled pink(no pun intended) and this has been a happy and healthy pregnancy...

    My girlfriend is a cake decorating photog as well. I find it is a good mix of hobbies.

    Thnaks everyone for looking...I've done cakes for about 10 years and it's so exciting how many endless possibilities their are...and all of them edible.....

    Then I read your post. Your friend is a strong woman! I am impressed with her fortitude!

    The cake is gorgeous! You have real talent girl. We know you're talented with a camera, but this is awesome. Definitely qualifies as art, IMHO!
