    Born to be mild...

Wedding shots,my daughter - Fadilah Shireen Al Daood married Ginanjar Hedyprasetya in a small ceremony at our home.

    1 - Final touches

2 - Couple with Mum (rt) and auntie

    3 - Leaving the reception...

I was happy to get a few photos which seemed to sum up the mood, after dealing with a heavy tropical downpour right before the ceremony and twice as many guests making the reception than we expected .

    Re: Born to be mild...

Thanks for all the good wishes,

Megan - I'm sorry to say these are from the Canon,it will be a while before I really get the hang of it - just shot on auto whenever I was free from my duties as mom of the bride.

Frog - Anjar is an enthusiast , he used to race some, and Deelah loves the bike - just like me at that age.
    - As for a breather - I'm just too excited about the new camera not to be out shooting as often as possible in order to be ready to use it at the next show .

666 - I can take no credit for this one, lol.
    - after Deelah introduced Anjar to the family,we all loved him,too - and they were married within 6 months of meeting - gotta hand it to my girl, she knows what she wants, has great instincts.

Wow, what a beautiful daughter and new son-in-law, they look great together. May they have a long and wonderful marriage.

What a proud and special day for you. Glad that you were able to enjoy it and get some pictures in. Even on auto with the new camera your shots are wonderful, but that should be normal after seeing your previous pictures.

Don't worry I am sure you will know that camera in no time.

Wonderful images and such a beautiful bride. Your family is truly cosmopolitan. My youngest daughter is getting married this summer. I hope I hold up as well as you seem to have, and get as nice parent pictures.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: Born to be mild...

Splats, they were just posing,as the rains had left way too much mud on the road .

James, bless you for the kind comments - I go between shooting smoothly and totally stumped by some new setting I've wandered into !

O.T. A wedding over here is so much more relaxed - much easier on the family.
    - We had so much kind help, all I had to do was help Deelah get ready, greet guests and get a few photos .
Good luck with your daughters' wedding,I'll look for photos.

Burhan here is a little lost in all the celebrations.
