Bobby Orr - 40 years later

May 10 , a Statue was dedicated outside the Boston Garden to the 40th anniversary of the Game winning goal. I was there yesterday and snapped off a Few shots.

Nice post, splats. I lived in New Brunswick, Canada until I was 8 and Bobby Orr was one of my sports heroes. I'm a Sharks fan now but I love the classic teams, especially the Bruins, Maple Leafs and Canadiens. These are great mouments. I especially like that they copied the team roster right from the Stanley Cup engraving, That makes it extra special.

I never made it to a Bruins game when I lived in Boston in the early nineties, before they rebuilt the Garden. Big mistake

And Boston did it again 41 years later, beating the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in the 7th game of the Stanley Cup Final...a lot of us supporters are very disappointed, mais, c'est la vie...congrats to the Bruins from this very disappointed supporter who had hoped that maybe the Cup would come back to Canada...:cryin:
