    Blowing my own Trumpet

    Hi all

Forgive me for blowing my own trumpet, but on Monday I won my club's annual "Master Photographer Competition"!

Unlike the usual league print competitions, this one involves submitting pictures from 6 of 7 set subjects (ie one opt-out). They are then scored out of 10 and the highest total score wins the trophy. It is an annual highlight of my club's year and the list of past winners is a real roll call of distinguished names in the club's history. So, I was mightily pleased to win it!

The panel I submitted can be seen at: http://album2591.fotopic.net/c1403582.html

together with the topics and my scores. For the record, my opt-out was Landscape.

    Cheers
    Mike

Congratulations! That's good enough to blow your own trumpet! After viewing the images I can say that you honestly deserve it. The photos are excellent. I was impressed by the composition - creativity - and the colors......

    Thanks for sharing your award!

Thanks everyone I only had the trophy briefly on Monday - I will get it back in a week or two once the engraving has been done, to keep for a year.
