Bilbao Dunes / Dunas de Bilbao

I have been greedy and I haven't uploaded any pics taken few weeks ago to the local dune area. A cool small photographic trip I did with dad, woke up early 5:00 am, pick up dad at 5:30 or so and made the 45 min trip to the dunes, we got there 10 min just before the sunrise...boy! I´ll tell ya it was cold without the sun, I was freezing my butt, fortunately with the first sun rays temp rise up very quickly.

It was quite a challenge for me to get the right EXP on some of the pics....light conditions changed fairly quickly and so the scenery...its wonderful how things looks different in matter of minutes as sun travels up the sky.

The sand texture in the last shot is outstanding, but needs the sky from the 4th image. All in all a wonderfull series Rob.

Thanks chaps. Yes I´ll be going there again soon to shoot with the Canon. As I said is the type of place that shifts from A to Z with the different type light during the day and season to season so there is plenty of material shoot at...fun place yes...good to take long strolls and use that shutter every few feet as you walk by.

The fun increases when you hear the rattle of a snake and have to be careful not to step in one of the many desert like creatures.
