So I guess I should at least post something, so here's a shot from my August kayaking trip in the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior. Actually, I've waited four years to do this shot. In 2001, I was in the same spot and didn't think of lining everything up like this until it was too late (the sun rises faster when you're trying to photograph it...). I didn't make it back to the same spot again until last year, and that one morning was overcast. This year, it all worked out.

When you play with mixing symmetry and asymmetry, things can get pretty exciting.

From my experience, this is not true at all. I find when I try to shoot sunrises and sets, it's overcast...
