Great stuff as we all expect from Nat'l Geographic.
I was attracted to the giant grouper and diver pic and also noticed that the reindeer kissing must be wearing disguises to make them look like moose.

Cripes, I could have taken them if I'd been in the right place at the right time, had the right equipment and had the skill and expertise and ...............

Those were awesome. Thanks for providing the link.

    Great post Liz.
My favorite has to be the two moose. Or is it meese or mooses?

I also love the tortoise and the gator preparing his lunch...

Good stuff, Liz. I love the human-like qualities of some of the animal shots.

They remind me of a fantastic book I bought some time ago: Animal Portraits by Andy Rouse.

As you might guess, these are unaltered shots of animals that have an unmistakable human portrait quality to them. I've already given a couple of copies of the book to friends.

Thanks for thinking of us when you got this Liz. A series of images like that can just make your day.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Yes, OT - especially if you're the photographer!

Seriously, just looking at these lifted my spirits - it's amazing what's possible in the field of photography.

Steve - I put the above book in my cart and will order it when I have time to figure out what else I'm purchasing to get the over $25 free ship. Thanks for the heads up.

BTW - my favorite photo is the one of the cats.
