Best bang for buck- DVD camcorders

    Hi ya'll!

Perhaps someone here can help me. I'm new to DVD camcorders. Which one do you recommend? Or stay with VHS?

We now have a DVD player at home, and now I have a DVD burner on my new computer. My little old camcorder(vhs sony) is now a piece of junk, so I'm looking for something new - for a reasonable price.

    Oh how technology changes...

    Thanks!

This might get better response if you posted on the Digital Video message board but I would recommend going with Mini DV. Most people have firewire on their computers and newer XP systems come with video editing software (as do Macs) now so you can just hook up the camcorder to the computer. Download the video to their and then create the movie and burn to DVD.
