Been snowing since 7AM in NJ Shore!

I'm by Sandy Hook/Highlands/Sea Bright area. We're expecting 18+ inches of snow. The police station is calling to let everyone know there will be 50 MPH winds tonight and to please be sure to secure all outside objects. Hmmm, last years snow drifts were huge, can't wait to shoot this years with my new rebel!

This is last years, which I plan to beat this shot this year! Slowed down my shutter at dusk and used an umbrella to shield from snow on my lens, with my Nikon Coolpix 4300:

OKay, so I made an attempt to take some shots but it's snowing too hard and the snow is so wet my camera was getting soaked in minutes, so this is the best I could do for now (BTW, They just declared a state of emergency, so NJ people - get off the roads!)...
