    Beautiful Bride

    ... and her daughter

Not ya everyday bride. She was game for any suggestions I made, she even posed herself! She had a few of her own ideas too! (I LOVE that!) Doing her boots up was one shot SHE wanted. This Bride was so much fun to shoot!

She took 20 minutes to get ready! No hairdresser and no car, she walked through the streets to her wedding!

Unfortunately, she only wanted her getting ready shots. She didn't want a photographer at her wedding. So you don't get to see the Groom

The rest are here if you wanted to see.

I like the nice creative poses. That is what I call a blue dress. Nice work Alison.

    You did a wonderful job.

Why didn't she want shots of the ceremony or her groom?
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

    Re: Beautiful Bride

Photography is often frowned on during the ceremony as it becomes somewhat disruptive of the sacrament.
These are all very nice, Alison and loved all the ones on the site too.
Must be nice to work with someone who knows how to have fun.

    Re: Beautiful Bride

    Thanks guys.

Not sure why she didn't want a photographer. Judging by these I don't thinks she is a traditional woman who likes the everyday stiff and posed look. I know these are posed but they aren't exactly traditional are they?
I think she probably thought having a photographer would turn the wedding into...
ok now lets have the parents of the bride and groom, now the bride and grooms brothers and sisters etc.

Seems to turn a relaxed wedding into a photo session and everyone looks too stifff and posed. She said that alot of people would have cameras and they could just snap away taking candids of everyone having a great time.

Frog, I totally forgot the Priest said NO to photography at our wedding. Now I have a memory of the photographer sneaking a few from the balcony in the back with no flash.

Yes, exactly. The wedding I shot last August the Pastor performing the ceremony said no photography during the service also, to which myself and the other photographer both had no problems with at all (us being raised in the church).

Allison, great shots! I love the one with the bride and the daughter.

Just gorgeous Alison. Your lighting is spot on and the blue is vivid and makes each image come alive. You can count me as one of your biggest fans. Keep it up.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: Beautiful Bride

    Thank you all so much.
The bride was a very refreshing change from the norm and to only shoot for an hour on a wedding was very stress free for both the bride and myself!
