    The Beach

Had a couple hours between classes today so I went to the beach to play with the new camera some more. It was nice, midday so not the best light but the sun was out for a change and nobody else there.

Decided to test out lightroom and aperture too which was a mistake. I think they realize the majority of people who do a 30 day trial will likely end up buying, bastards.

Well it's easy to see you have started a love affair with that new camera. Some wonderful images here Andrew. It would be very hard to pick a favorite. I can see a very long and happy relationship ahead for you and the your new camera. Keep posting and sharing your wonderful photos.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Haha thanks I think love affair isnt too far from the right description. The compact is going to feel neglected. I was trying to remember where I saw the quote in your signature the other day. Started shooting with that in mind a while back and have ended up deleting close to three quarters of what I take every time, think it helps.

Really fine looking shots, Andrew. Seems your getting the feel of the camera and have some very good control over it now. Also, shooting RAW and using a program like LightRoom or Aperture can make it way powerful stuff.
    Nice

I both swear by, and at, Lightroom.
Now that other software like DxO is lightroom-aware and can be configured as an editor in LR I think there is more reason to use LR for workflow.
I just wish it handled 400000 images a bit more quickly.
