Hey guys…just heard about this awesome photo contest Billboard and PDN are having where all you need to do is submit a photo from a music moment, and the prizes are awesome! You can either be a professional or an amateur (prizes vary with which of these you enter) and the winner gets everything from being able to go to one of Billboard’s star-studded events for free, to having your photos published in Billboard magazine and on Billboard.com…deadline is Sept 8th and the link is htpp://www.billboardphotocontest.com/ go check it out!

I'm generally skeptical of photo contest. Usually they appear to be a method for publications to get a whole bunch of photos for the price of a prize instead of what the photos are really worth. But if PDN (Photo District News) is involved. Maybe this is really different.

I'm also suspicious of first posts that announce something on another site. But what the hell. Maybe the members here will be interested.
