It was a great review, including the colorful "butterfly fart" comment. The Contax has always been a dream camera for me, me never being able to justify the cost against how much I'd be using it. He certainly put the time and effort into his review, and I'll bet his images were top-notch.

Doing some research, the camera itself seems reasonably priced. Not much more than my D70 package. However, I suspect that the backs and the lenses are incredible expensive. Soemday, I will buy one. If I ever get serious.

You're right. Each lens will cost about as much as another D70 body. They're really nice lenses. But that's a serious financial commitment.
