Art Show- which should I submit?

I'm going to be submitting some artwork to a student/teacher art show that the college I goto is having. I'm allowed to submit up to 5, and then a jury will pick whether they want any of my work to show. I've narrowed it down to 8, and I'm having a hard time figuring out which 3 to get rid of. Here are my choices:

    My Niece

    Water on the leaf

    Road to Nowhere

The Feather (I also have a version in Blk/White that is under consideration)

    Downhill racer #192

    Downhill racer #171

    Downhill racer #140

Or last but not least- Exhausted

My vote would be 3,2 & 4 in that order. All very nice work could not good wrong with any of them.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about this but it occurs to me that if it is an art show the judges may not have the same appreciation for the mountain biking shots that many of the members here would.

I would drop the three Downhill racer shots and keep the first four and Exhausted.

Have you tried Exhausted as a b&w?

Actually, I haven't tried the Exhausted one in B&W, I'll have to try that and see how it goes.

I went ahead and got them all printed to help me decide, and I did decide to drop the 3 racers. They looked really cool, but they just didn't fit in.

The feather one came out really good in B&W, so I'll probably turn the last one into B&W so they all match.

I also know 2 of the people that will be judging the prints, they're both my teachers and they love the MTB shots I've gotten past semester

road to nowhere, feather with water, and exhausted are awesome...

#3 is my favorite by far... it has a quality that would stand well in a show imo.

IMO, the weakest shots here are the kid with the flowers, and the shots of the guys on bikes.

Apart from that, art and photo contests are a complete mystery to me, so I'd have no idea which pics had the best chance of doing well. All are good...

    Good luck!
