Anyone see the Zack Arias video??

He was guest blogger on Scott Kelby's blog today, and decided to make a video:

I won't say anything about it now.. I'll let you watch it first..

But now if I say something it will be leading to the next watcher so I'll just say I watched and questioned myself and then I saw myself.

I check out Scott's blog everyday, but yesterday, I skipped the video. After reading his blog again today, and seeing all of the comments that people had left about the video yesterday, I went back and watched it. Well worth the time!

I can relate just a little too closely to much of what he said (barring the being-good-at-it, tons-of-clients, and actually-getting-paid parts); I've been negotiating a bit of a partially-photography-related winter of discontent myself, so this vid was pretty validating and its arrival quite serendipitous.

I have lots of thoughts about the vid, but I'll exercise brevity for now.

Great stuff. Thanks a lot for posting.

That sounds like pretty much the same boat I'm in. I question myself and my photography a lot, and especially during the winter funks. Needless to say this video pushed all the right buttons for me, otherwise I wouldn't have posted it. I see it's hitting the spot for others here as well.

And for me, this vid makes me want to get out there and take some dark street night shots, while I still can, before my health is SO bad that I can no longer even experience the winter funk, ya know....
