Icicle, there are several folks on here from Wa. state. Most of us live on the west side of the hill though:-(
I have entertained thoughts of having a NW a gathering?

    Unfortunately...

I just moved from Portland to the SF Bay Area. New job. Very exciting. But, I'm missing the North Wet already.

    Happy hunting.

    Hey, icicle!
I'm actually pretty amazed at the number of us from Wa. and Oregon.
We seem to be pretty spread out though, but a get together somewhere, sometime might be good.
Don't know if you're interested but you might look at meetup.com for photo meetups around Kelso.

The problem is getting a free weekend for me.... Between daughters hours (Sat & Sun) and work, it's a problem. Then if it's not local the gas!

I am from the east side of Washington, over by Spokane. I think a get together would be great, I would travel to the west side if I had to. That is not a huge deal......

Nice to meet you! Welcome to this site!

Re: Anyone from Oregon and Washington

Well, if we do, I'd like it to be somewhere I don't often go or haven't been. Of course, I live at the foot of Mt.Rainier which is where others might want to go.
Soon the passes may get difficult and Chinook and North Cascades will be closed.

Ok here is my input on a gathering:
Place Tacoma Museum district followed by a trip to the point defiance zoo lights during the holidays? Our weather?
I am open to reading some others thoughts.

I'm over here on the Penninsula, I think a day trip would be fun. Maybe something easy as I'd love to bring the boy.

I'm south of Portland in the Hubbard/Woodburn area, and would be interested in a meetup.

Re: Anyone from Oregon and Washington

Jimmy, I've been thinking about the museum area for some time....not the zoo, though.\
I don't do zoos but Pt. Defiance has many ohter photo ops.

Pesonally, I love the east side of the mountains. I think somewhere central for all the 'tonians and 'gonians would be good and I guess it would be somewhere along the Columbia ?? I'll try anywhere though.
