Anyone Notice The New Home Page?

I know most of you think these forums *are* PhotographyREVIEW.com. However, there's a whole lot of other stuff on the site. And some of you may have noticed things outside the forums are looking a little different this week. If you haven't noticed, check out the screenshot of the Home page below. Better yet, go to the Home page and check it out for yourself: Camera Reviews, Digital Camera Reviews & Photography

At this point, everything but the forums and galleries has been switched over to the new design. We haven't done an official launch announcement for the new design yet because we're still polishing it a bit. In fact, we could use your feedback. If you find a page that looks messed up or have suggestions of any sort, please let us know.

Some of the main goals of the new design were to make the user reviews more functional, with more links to related content; integrate the tons photography content in our articles section into the site better; and to better show off our best content on the Home page. Most of you probably have the forums bookmarked, but I'd encourage you to bookmark the Home page instead so you see all our latest news and articles whenever you check into the site. I think most of you will be surprised by how much there is and how good it is.

If you haven't visited the user reviews section for a while, check out the new look and navigation and write some reviews for your camera gear. Your reviews are the foundation of the site: Camera Reviews, Lens Review and Digital SLRs

I notice it was a lot easier to find a review on a lens yesterday. I like the new Carl Zeiss wide lens too, just not the price. Niice job John.

Glad to hear you found a lens easily. That was one of the main goals. And yeah, that new Zeiss 15mm does look sweet. I think it's time I reviewed one of their lenses just so I can find out for myself if they measure up to the hype.

New Home page looks great, much needed upgrade. My only nit is that on the gallery the pic number is auto set to just 9 images.

I usually visit the site through the homepage first to see what the new stories/review are, then navigate to the forums. I noticed the update immediately! Looks great. Will give feedback as I go if I notice anything.

The gallery design and settings are a whole different deal. I have that same problem and it drives me nuts. The good news is, a gallery update is also on the way

Well that's good

The feeds in the forum are kind of messed up right now. But I think we should have the forums set up in the new design next week. And the new navigation should make a big difference in regards to finding things on the site. I think it's a lot better.
