The Vice pres. is smiling cos he's getting lampooned by a singing duo - Indo politics are different - was very happy to get within 25 feet for that shot.

- I have cards full of crowd photos,since it was tight security,they were calmer (!) than usual,allowing me to wander around,dodge the fire truck hoses,and shoot away at my leisure.
Indonesians at a live music show have such a good time its hard to know where to aim next - for a coupla of hours I worked surrounded by the greatest feeling of joy and celebration,even the heavy security detail rocked out a little !
I'll work on the next cards in a few days,after picking up my new camera and shooting my daughter's wedding,in 2 days.

No,actually,just the 'ol Cybershot on a good day,its still my first love,and now nestles snugly in my bag next to the 40D I bought 1 hour ago..its a long story,but I set out today to buy a Sony A200 plus 2 lenses,came home with a new Canon plus 50mm 1.8 and some accessories,and feel much like the first day I brought my Honda CB550 home ,around 20 years ago - its huge and awesome,and I don't really know how to drive it,yet !

- This camera had my name on it,I guess,as I've asked about it on and off for 4 months,then it came off reserve and I nailed it - 5 mins later,while shopping online for a totally different one.
