Cool Another One Of My Images Has Made It Onto..

Another website other than my own. The list is growing...

The band my brother is in has several of my photo's posted on their website. About half the photo's on their site were taken by me. Click on photo's.

The Northeastern District has posted several of my photo's as well. Eight of the nine photo's on their site were taken by me.

Now the Health Department has posted one on the front page of their website. I took this in my capacity as the Health Department Photographer, though to be sure, that is an unofficial title. It certainly hasn't made it into my job description!

Good job Speed. Keep it up...btw, you didn't include this site lol, hey I tried to help you out by adding another one.

I lost track of how many sites my photos are on or how many papers have run my photos, but on occasion I find one that shouldn't be running my work. Whats really cool though is to find your photos on sites in other countries. So far that list is very small, Brazil and England that I know of. Both were from crashes at Indy in 2004.

Actually, if you google mccabe photography, the first thing that comes up is my website. The next three or four items are some of my posts here at PR!!!

That is really cool having your images in other countries. I guess that makes you an international photographer? Or a photographer known internationally? How ever you want to look at it, it's way cool!

    Congratulations Speed!

That is such good news. You must be very happy about getting so much publicity. ;)

BTW - I posted the link to Badger in Helpfiles - the thread about my new lens.

Re: Another One Of My Images Has Made It Onto..

    Hey Speed,
Thanks, it is interesting to see your pictures in places you never expected to see them. One of those odd places, considering I'm in a very small county that dosn't seem to be a hotbed for the NFL, yet, one NFL's players parents have several photos of mine they got through a newspaper I shoot for. And there is a history of hockey in Indianapolis book floating around that has 4 photos in it.

Not sure if you have tried it but selling stock photos can get you into a lot of interesting places. I recently had a stock photo of a hawk sell for around $70 (my cut) and it is apparently going into a book of some sort. Thats one way to sell your work and you don't have any effort or expense except the time preping and uploading the photos.
Hope to see you get more photos out there Speed!
