    Liz,

I'd like to get everyone into the same 24 hour period. I think it becomes more "special" (there's that word again) that way. But if people really prefer having two days, we can do that. We really only had two this time to insure everyone got a chance. I think it also got more people hooked so they're more likely to play again next time

I am thinking of doing the Fall 24 on a weekend, so people can get out in the fall weather and shoot fall foliage, festivals, etc. The winter one would be a weekday as it's kind of an inside, family season.

    That's my current thinking anyway.

I'll poll in the fall to see which way we do it.

I hope we can wait that long! :D

That's why I think it should remain unstructured (no theme) that will keep it from competing with the Photo Project.

That sounds great, Rick. I think you're right. I think my enthusiastic request for one a month was in response to how much fun it was. But thinking it over, I guess eventually I too would get to the point where it might be "old hat" and boring - and I wouldn't participate as much.

Sounds great to me. One added note - I think we already have a theme with the 24 hour limit. I think the monthly project forum needs a theme, but it's too confining to have just 24 hours - and then a theme. Just my opinion.

Thanks for doing all the work!

    Hey Liz,

    You're welcome :)

And I couldn't agree more about not having a theme. I never really considered giving the 24 hours thread a theme. If people want to make their own threads, they're free to do so and I encourage them too. The No Words game and "Post your ____ Pictures Here" threads are always fun. And they can happen anytime.

Believe you me, I know how you feel :) I'm itching to do another one too. There's a delicate balance between indulging yourself in what you love versus doing it so much you don't love it anymore. I think the once a season idea (who's idea was that anway? not mine...) is the best compromise. It's enough to satisfy the urge but not enough to get sick of it.

It's like they say... "Always leave them wanting more."

That's good wisdom. I love the way you "salt" your writings with philosophical tidbits. Way Cool!

My sister and her friends graduated from high school on Saturday. This is one of their fun poses.

Do you prefer once a season?

    Thanks,

I think once a month would be too often. Maybe once per season.

One more from Saturday. This little bird fell out of his nest, and he couldn't climb back up the tree to get home.

    Dan,

Your shots of DC look dark to me. I'm not much of a tech guy so I can't help much with the computer stuff. But my guess is, your machines aren't calibrated?
