    Amazing Idaho Wildlife...

    Squirrels here will just come up and eat out of your hand, but I think this one wanted my camera. Of course he had to rear up at the last second and throw his face slightly out of focus. They need to do a better job training these critters...

    What a cutie! Hard to believe I used to shoot them for target practice when I was a kid. Now, I shoot them with a camera and let them scurry off back into the trees unmolested (though I'm not opposed to hunting them for food, mind you).

    In regards to the picture, I think you should try to shoot him in his native habitat as opposed to the man-made concrete he's forced to frequent in order to get a few handouts. But he's still cute.

    Squirrels can be so cute and photogenic.

    Though I agree with you, they do need more training in being models, holding still, positioning against good backdrops, etc.
