    All your base...

belongs to us! These are the film shots I took at the Edgar Adult Occupational Center in Edgar Ontario (near Barrie, ON) Built in 1952 it served as a radar station for the Pine Tree line until 1964 when the base was shut down and the radar removed, it was then sold to the Ontario Government (for around 220,000) for use as an Adult Occupational Center. It operated until 1999 and has been standing empty ever since. It's used for SWAT training now, and guarded 24/7, but we got in spent four hours, and got out without seeing security. We did run into another group of explorers.

    Technical details:
Film - Agfa APX ISO 400
    Camera - Minolta X-7A
    Lens - Minolta MD 28mm f/2.8
    Scanner - HP ScanJet 3300c scanned @ 600 DPI
Post Processing - Cropped, Level & Colour Balanced, Resized - Photoshop CS2

    Re: All your base...

Hey Axle. I like your interior shots here. I think this film's a little too contrasty for outdoors. But your interior work is nice!

I hope you don't get caught on any of these industrial adventures

    Axle,

Love the title. Good shots though, very mysterious...it sounds like this is a common occurance for you to go into these restricted buildings (if I remember some of your previous series').

    Great shots though,

    Jared

    Re: All your base...

Thanks for the comments. Yeah I deffinatly agree with this not being a good outdoor film, but it was my first time using Agfa APX.

Yes it is common for me to do these little adventures. I've been caught a couple times, but nothing happened I was just asked to leave and not come back. No arrests, I just have to be careful and step twice as fast.
