The term "ugly" applies to both the subject of the images, as well as the 25,600 ISO employed in the captures. Testing out the 1D X in what I felt was a hostile environment. Not knowing the neighborhood, nor the intent of the many guys just hanging out, I was not comfortable setting up a tripod to get cleaner shots. So it is what it is!
On the first shot, you can see an 'X' in the center driving lane, which would have been JFK's location at the time he was shot. The famous "grassy knoll" is in the background, picket fence (above and left of the steps) and all. The building is the Texas School Book Depository, the place from which Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated John F Kennedy. The far right window, second from the top (building on the left) is where he fired from. The car's position would have been directly to the left of my shooting position.
