    Lightbulb Alaska Trip

I know this is really short notice, but is anyone interested in an Alaska trip in July? I was thinking July 10 - 21st myself, want to go to the arctic circle and see the 2 am sun plus the general areas of Anchorage and Fairbanks. The tour I'm looking at spends several days at Denali national park which is supposed to be incredible, and also goes to Seward, a fishing town that seems to draw in tourists (like me).

Just seeing if anyone's interested in going and sharing expenses.

If could afford it and I didn't have to work or attend other obligations, that would be a great experience...but I'll certainly look forward to the images you get.

Alaska has been on my list for years, but unfortunately, it's going to have to wait.. Sounds like a great trip. Have fun!

Let me know when you'll be in the Fairbanks area, we'll have a beer...if I'm in town.

Just like Mike, I also have Alaska on my list of places I would love to visit. My gf and I want to take a trip up one day, hope it happens.

Good luck, have fun and can't wait to see pictures.

    Re: Alaska Trip

Ok folks, I didn't really expect anyone to be able to make it on such short notice. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the reservations or tickets, but probably will soon. Alaska isn't cheap, that's for sure. I also checked into specialized photographers trips/tours but they're a bit more even then. I think I can get some decent photos regardless.

EOS, looks like you spend a lot of time in small planes which I hear is a popular form of travel in Alaska. PM me your contact info and I will surely see if you're there when in Fairbanks.

While in Anchorage look me up. We'll have 2 beers ... ;-)

And I'll BBQ some salmon and halibut.

I sure wish I could go, I am way down here in hot, humid Houston. Enjoy the trip, Seward is a wonderful place as is all of the State. Watch out for bears
