    Adapt This!

So for the first time in a good several years I bought a new digital camera...a Sony a6000. And well I love it, solid performance even at high ISOs. But the one thing I was really looking forward to was getting adapters to mount some of my older lenses on. So a couple weekends back I picked up a Fotodiox M39 to E-Mount. And proceeded to try it out with great success!

    The first lens mounted was a Jupiter-8 (50mm f/2)

Then something a little more fancy...a Leitz Summitar 50mm f/2

And third and weakest the Industar-22 (50mm f/3.5) (weakest only because the adapter doesn't allow focus down to infinity or if you have it locked at infinity you can't get it out of that without removing the lens from the adapter).

Now I can't wait to get one for my AI/AI-S Nikon lenses and Contax G lenses!

Congratulations Alex! We all know that great feeling of getting new gear - especially when it's been a while!

The shots are beautiful. Sony sure has been coming out with some beautiful stuff lately.

Thanks for sharing your images. Enjoy!

Thank you both! Yeah I haven't been this excited about a digital camera in some time! I'm looking forward to giving it a real test when it comes to Europe in a couple months!
