    Abstract

Saw the rain hitting the window of my car with the light in the background and had to shoot it.

I'm not usually a fan of rainy window images, but I kinda like this one. What I like about this one is the lack of color (mostly), the DOF and focus, and strong contrast. I think I would prefer the bright lights to not be in the frame, so the focus would move more to the water, which is highlighted nicely by those bright lights and contrasts well with the darker window/background. Though that may have made the background too dark.. Oh well..

I commented on this one in the gallery but just to reiterate, I like it a lot. The sense of depth that the bright light behind gives the image and the net monotone are the selling points for me as well as the composition. Nice work Brian.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
