    Abandoned building

Out in the middle of nowhere we found this place
it is used to be a silver mine , the building in particular was the administration
the place is reachable in 4x4

I wouldn't want to be caught in there in case of earthquake

    Re: Abandoned building

Oh beautiful! I love spaces like this.

The one problem I have with the last two is a little heavy on the HDR...

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

That's a find alright. Must be well out as around here people pay money for used brick.

Nice shots. That would be a great place to shoot with flashes in the dark.

    Re: Abandoned building

    Thanks for the comments

Here is the photo of another construction near by, all that is left are a couple of rundown adobe walls

** This may look misaligned but is hard to have a reference since everything is at different angles, both walls and the ground

There isn't much left of the main building other than the facade, and the room with the fireplace.

I explored a bit looking for more of the mine, found an entrance with a concrete mantel, completely blocked by rubble, water is coming out forming a small pond, which has to look great in the right light.

Light at the time I was there was not favorable, if I go back I'll like to do it quite early, rather than late, when it will be more likely to find some of the graffiti artists coming to refine their master pieces. Although the place is remote from a large town, there are tiny communities at walking distance.

The trip was with a group of 4x4's , it would be nice to go back into photo shooting mode, there are a few really nice water streams on the way which I'm sure should be great to photograph, also there has to be some great nature subjects.
Hopefully I'll remember to bring bug repellent.
