    I actually broke out my 50mm f/1.8 this past weekend.. Here's my favorite shot from that day..

    This is gorgeous Brain. I love the wonderful cottony effect of the water and great colors. One thing is for sure the 50mm is a very versatile lens.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    That's a personal taste decision. If they were mine I'd delete the first and keep the second. I think the exposure is a bit better in that one.

    Here's a couple of mine. First is an old shot from Philmont boy scout camp, 1989, shot with a Pentax Spotmatic and scanned from the film, which I recently found in my parents' basement. Second is one I shot around Christmas 2007.

    Both worthy contribution to this thread. Nice to have you posting hope you show us more of your work. I think it's high time that pull the 50 back out and take another walk, I'm falling behind.
