    From the 4th

    Kinda

Gramma made 4th of July outfits for our girls, along with thier 3 cousins on that side. Tomorrow I am going to be trying to get a decent one of all 5 (ages 8,6,5,5, and 3). But I stopped today to try and get one of my two.

Heres b&w and color. Color so you can see the dresses, b&w cause that's what I like best.

Hi Adina ... boy, the photos you've posted of your kids have been truly outstanding. Have you ever thought about doing this as a side job...I'd expect you'd have moms and kids lined up down the block waiting for your skills. I'm also a b&w fan, but I actually think the color image works the best with those dresses. Excellent work.

Thanks Charles. I've actually started doing a little bit on the side, trying very hard to keep the time balanced. On one side I really enjoy doing it, on the other side I have a gazillion things to do around here. Don't want to commit to much until both are in school.

You take some of the most beautiful kid images.. What conditions did you shoot those pictures under? It looks like out doors, but was it overcast? What camera are you using and what settings? I find "living" subjects (people, pets, etc..) to be the hardest to photograph.

Thank you. These were shot outdoors, overcast, which is all we've had lately. I'm shooting with the 10d and the 50mm f/1.8. Iso was 100, f/2.5, 1/1500. It was pretty bright out. Those may not be exact, I adjust while shooting.

    Nice mom

That is so nice that your mom made all those matching dresses! Your girls look very cute in them, and your photos are great.

My husband's mom actually made the dresses. My mom made them quilts. We are all sorts of crafty around here
