    Cool

Probably needs to be added to the reviews, too. Thanks for bringing that up. There's a lot of stuff that needs to be added right now...

I need a lens upgrade. Mine suck. I am by nature a person who likes to stay lite on equipment. I'd like a nice IS tele and A good third party wideangle. That tokina looks pretty nice.

    Almo,
This is my third Tokina lens,( 80-400 zoom, 100mm macro; 1:2 mag, & now 12- 24 zoom). They are all built very well. They are all also very heavy! I hope to test their image qualty over time. At the present I think their worth their weight.
I too would like an IS lense, But I think my next purchase will be a sigma 70-300 APO zoom, for its light weight and 1:2 macro capabilaty! (and it's cheap).

I just spoke with the Tokina reps a little while back, they have a new 100 mm 2.8 macro coming out with a 1:1 ratio. It will be part of the ATX-Pro line.

    Re: 12-24 tokina in stock.

I've been really happy with Tokina lenses and heard great things about this one. I got the email from B&H right before I left for vacation that it was available, but haven't ordered it yet. The one thing, it's got that AF/MF clutch and I'm not sure I personally like that. My 28-80 has that and it's not my favorite. Of course in both cases the Nikon option is twice the money... And this lens looks like a copy of the Nikon which is an excellent lens.

    Added To Reviews

    Mark-
The new 12-24mm lens has been added to the reviews. If you feel ready, post now and be the first!

Let me know if there are more things for me to add. I know I'm a little bit behind in keeping up the review database.

    Thanks!
