    tungsten vs. strobe

Which do you prefer, and why? I will be getting a studio lighting assignment next week and we have some tungsten kits as well as some stobe kits that we can check out. I was thinking the tungsten would be easier to use since they are on all the time but I see alot of post about people wanting strobes. So what is the up and down side to both? If this has already been discussed can you point me towards the thread?

    Thanks
