Need recommendations for high speed studio strobes

I'm currently using four Norman LH500's with a 1200 watt Norman power supply, but even at minumum output settings I can't fire more than 1 to 2 frames per second without over taxing the power supply's ability to recharge the capacitors. Any suggestions for a more powerful high speed power solution?
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

How much are you stopping down? No matter what strobes/monolights you use they will take longer to recycle if you are using more power. I have use Alien bees b800 and b1600. When I set up to shoot at wide open on my lense for shallow depth of field you aren't using too much power and even down to f8 I can Shoot pretty rapid for a few shots before it needs to fully charge and the recharge time isn't too long and that is going through a large softbox on my b1600.
