studio strobes w/canon digital rebel???

hi, does anyone have experinece using a digital rebel in the studio? if so, can you tell me if it's possible to run studio strobes from one of those hotshoe adapters (pc outlet) while controlling the aperture/shutter? Does the built-in flash interfere at all? Thanks!!!!

yep,you can do it.the adapter is 11.00 most places,you just keep your flash closed and shoot in manual.almost forgot,a sync adapter from wein should be used,just to be safe.
