After the long college and high school baseball/softball seasons, the youth/kids seasons are here. It's more work, with many more games and teams per day, rather than the usual one or two, but it is more profitable so I'll take it ;) The backstop and dugout fences suck too, one makes the horizon go one way then the other goes the opposite, so it always seems one direction is crooked. I know I should get lower for these shots, and I do sometimes, but my knees feel 17 years of city league basketball.

1. The two fields the 8-10 and 10-12 yr old teams play on face the setting sun, so the games that start at 7 pm go from the harshest light to barely any at the end. This kid hit one of those 'little league' versions of in the park homeruns.

5. 8 year old with a strong arm, playing shortstop and pitching on a 10 year old team, only problem is he likes to watch the ball come out of his hand whenever he throws
