Whitewater rodeo

This is from our local whitewater festival that was in June 2011.
I had a lot of fun shooting this. The competition was being held at specific accessible locations on the river like this big giant hole. These are from the freestyle kayak comp and the the raft rodeo, which involved trying to surf the hole in rafts which didn't usually last long or end well. The freestyle kayakers were just amazing.

No way. That's just crazy. That first shot is ridiculous. I mean, the shot is good, it's the act that's ridiculous. Me? I'd probably drown. LOL!
