    Where to post.....

APache and Blackhawk helicoptor photos? I read the sports forum here because when I am home I shoot basketball and baseball. I have been in Iraq for about 3 years now and I finally decided to get myself a Canon 20D so I can get some shots of the Apaches that take off and land about 20 feet from my office.....very noisey but also very cool

I didn't get any high-end lenses because the conditions over here are brutal, but what I have should do OK.

    Two questions though.

    1) Can someone give me an idea how to setup my camera and lens to shoot in BRIGHT desert sunlight with clear blue skies. The sun is usually high in the sky and very bright, not a cloud to be seen in the summer. I would appreciate it if someone could give me a step by step camera set up for those conditions.

    2) Where do I post those photos for critique? Is it nature and wildlife?? Or can I just post them in here?

    Thanks

    Kevin

    Re: Where to post.....

    Hi Kevin,
Post here: http://forums.photographyreview.com/...splay.php?f=30 Thats the critique forum.

For sports photos you can post those right here where you are at, thats what were here for sports!!

As for help on settings for the photos you want to take in the desert check out the help forum. I haven't done any desert photos, although I do shoot Blackhawk photos on occason as they fly over my house weekly. We have a NG unit not far away that uses them and then we also get some Tank Killers flying low once a week as well....just wish I could tell they were coming...but I guess thats the point with them, by the time you hear em it's too late.
