    What do you think?

Unfortunatly I couldn't get a good angle with a nice background and Ross's face, but this works pretty well. What do you guys think?

I would have liked to have the background lighter, now it looks too unnatural. Also there's something about the composition that I don't like that much, it's too central and the rider is like floating in the air without a past and a future and that to me seems not so natural.. I wanna see the lip, I wanna see more of the jump or none of it and a nicely speedy background...

Very nice motionboy! Really excellent job with the lighting. I think you made a good compromise between background and rider. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of where he took off from, but that's just personal preference. Great shot!

I would have liked to have a little more of the jump in also, I litterally had my back against a wall, so I was as far as I could be away. It is funny, that place is vast on one site and tight on the other.
I honestly like how the background looks like a backdrop. That place is so beautiful, at sunset it is tough not to think you are looking at a painting!

Oh here is another shot after the sun went down.

Very nice shots man. The first the background just looks weird almost fake but its nice. I think seeing more of the original lip would have been nice i like shots with the take offs and such in them. What kind of film were you shooting with?

    The first one was
    Velvia 100
    Canon 70-200 2.8
    250 @ 5.6
Pocket wizard set up just at the base of the landing 1/2 power

The second one.. I don't remember It didn't take as much setting up so it didn't stick in my mind, I want to say 250 @ 4.0 flash at full power.

And one more for good measure. I wish I had a better attention span. I don't do well sitting down and scanning all the shots at one time

The last one is very cool, although I'd crop a little from the left, now there's a definite emphasis on the right side of the image...
