Can you give us some technical details on these photos? Were you panning? They all look to me like they suffer from motion blur. If you're panning then you need to work on your panning technique. If you're not panning then you need to start. You're not going to be able to freeze this kind of action with your flash unless you've got some really high-end flash gear.

The photos are also all a bit over exposed. That's a shame because of the fall colors. I'd want to maximize those background colors by underexposing just a bit to really make them rich and saturated.
