Cool B/W Skating on Full Pipe

It's not a great scan but the original I printed got into a juried art show! I may be frustrated trying to enter the digital world but good ol' black and white printing never fails to satisfy! Later - Justin

P.S. I just found a brand new Polaroid ProntoB! (manual focus) with an add-on flash for $9 at a yard sale! Can't wait to play around with it and shoot some unique skating spots.

This is really, really nice, j. Reminds me of the classic skate photography - and all those orginal Thrasher mags I used to have. The ones that were all black and white and printed on newsprint.

I imagine the print has more detail in the shadows than the scan?

I think this is an EXCELLENT photograph.
It does seems a little dark, but I am sure it is a result of the scan. I am sure a "real print" looks quite nice!
I LOE the shadows, they create some nice patterns.
The barriers or whatever they are at the end of the pipe are good too, because they provide a good plae for your eye to stop.
Make sure you post some with the Polaroid too!

Very old school, straight out of "Dogtown and Z-boys".

    Nice shot

Great shot! Just a wonderful concept! Submit it to some magazine, I'm sure they'd take it!

    Nice shot,
