It's her first race meeting as a trainee marshal and he's got 35 years of experience.
These are the people that look after our safety as drivers if we're unfortunate enough to go off the track.

The standard pre-race driver's briefing boils down to "drivers play on the black stuff, don't hit each other, and leave the green stuff and the kitty litter alone" ... drivers who ignore the briefing have the course marshals, flag marshals, fire marshals, observers, all looking after the drivers' safety.
