This was the big pro road race that came through our little town a few weeks ago.

Stage 1 peleton coming through Gunnison on the way to Mt. Crested Butte

Stage 2 I rode in a Colombian team car from Gunnison to Aspen. Fun!
All stage 2 shot with Pentax K5 & Tamron 28-75 2.8 unless otherwise noted

Bad wreck at a cattleguard in Taylor Canyon. Poor guy broke both hands, lost teeth, and needed reconstructive surgery on his face.

Outstanding captures Matt! Love that first ultra wide and the fans shot is super.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

and what is the lady photographer thinking (or not thinking) ? she is distracting the paramedics , one is trying hard not to look while the other one is just staring

Yes, interesting about her. Looks like they are trying to peek up her skirt. We also don't have many people who dress like that around here (small town Western Colorado) so she kind of stuck out! After much joking about her I got an email from a friend who worked on the tour. He ran into her at another stage and she is making a documentary about the team who that rider rides for. I checked out her site and she does some pretty nice work IMO! I shared my photos of her and she seemed very nice in the email exchange we had.

    Thanks for compliments!
