    track shots!

well, the lighting that day was so bad that I just decided to try some fun stuff. the first pic is from my normal stuff, then the other two are just fun things. I also posted my pole vault pic in another thread from that day.

    gotta hate that lighting

color's a bit weird. tried correcting it, but then the track didn't look right. oh well.

100m hurdles. everyone looked at me so strangely when I had my 70-200 pointed at my friend's face. even the contracted photographer.

great photos. I like the long jump photo, gettin him at full stretch. it's sharp too.
on the two runners, i would of liked to see some motion blur, other than that, i like the reflection off the water (is the water suppose to be there?).
The last photo is great. I like the idea and how you isolated the color from his glasses. Great shot.
    Lightroom is my Darkroom...Hahaa.

yeah the water is from the steeplechase. I realistically couldn't pan because then the reflection wouldn't work as the water was moving as well. I would have panned normally, but for this shot, it wouldn't have worked too well. thanks for the comments.
