    Thumbs down Tonights Games

Well tonight was interesting to say the least as I was to drive 50 miles to game 1 then hit another on the way back, however mother nature decided to play havoc and ruin the entire weekend
Game 1 was to start at 7pm, but because they expected bad weather they held off until 8pm so as they are about to kick off lightning strikes just North of the school... game delayed.
Fortyunately I thought ahead and took some shots during pre game warmups, cause thats all I got.

Game 2: as I leave game 1 I get a call from the on scene writer saying the game is delayed. Right after that the editor calls and says to get some weather stuff if possible and thats about all we'll get. Well I got the weather stuff and players from both teams just kicken back waiting to get the game going again....well, not till 7pm tomorrow night...

That brings me to Saturdays "new" schedual....
    10am football suspended game 1
12m the Indy Air Show for a few crowd shots
2pm an elementary school for some "Relay for Life" fundraising (OK, lets send the smoker to that one)
3pm back to the air show for the Blue Angels at 4pm
5pm head for second rescheduled football game at 6pm 50 miles away.
and then be 25 miles away by 7:30 for the remaining reschedualed game

And that will be my Saturday

    well... tonights pics :

Well, since it hasn't rained here in almost 8 weeks our first game of the season went along on time. It was the cross county rivalry and as always was a great game. Sorry for your luck JS and hope your ride is tuned up for the "racing" you'll have to do today. One thing about football though, there are always some kind of "sights" to shoot.

Well at least someone got to actually shoot a football game last night, half of Indiana's games were postponed due to storms, from Indy North.

I had to laugh when I saw this mornings sports section, the top had a photo of mine (all the way across the page) that I got during the storms last night with lightning in the clouds. The really funny thing about the shot was that I didn't know it had an actual bolt of lightning in it until I saw it on the computer. I sent it in but didn't think they would actually use it, then it's the main shot of the page

Part of the reason I am home is to dump the cards and fix the Jeep for tonight...minor radiator issue
