Okay today we won big again.....

I changed my settings this time to see if there was going to be any difference...

I think the faster shutter definitely helped. Most of the available light shooters I know look to get 1/500 or higher. Since the 40D has very good noise performance, I think I would push the ISO another stop and go for 1/640 which should stop action nicely and help with the sharpness. I like the shots though, the smaller kids are a hoot to photograph. They have some of the best facial expressions.

You won't find too many places you can shoot at 500, or even 400. I'm so used to 200 I'm glad to get that! This week all my basketball was at 200 and todays gymnastics was at 125!

The more I shoot, the more I am learning....won't be long though, I will be back outside...YEAH!!!
I feel like I have overdosed on basketball this year....got 3 or 4 more P&R games for my daughter...then hopefully on to something else.....
