Thoughts on a Camera

I'm a beginner but would like to do this well and am will to spend about $600. Will be mainly photographing track and field events.

I think you cant go wrong with any camera body brand at relatively the same price range. I don't know much about this particular body, but the lenses that come with it are a little slow for track and field, but great range. Just remember you will need lots of bright sunshine when using these lenses with out having to bump up your iso too high.
