Up and down! lol, not sure how to look at certain changes going on here. On the plus side I am suddenly working more. Ok thats good, BUT and there is always a BUT there somewhere, I had to buy a new lens, needed to go wide angle so I got one I had tried through Canon CPS at the speedway, the 17-35mm f2.8. I loved it for certain shots at the track so I took the plunge. In two and a half weeks that lens has gotten 6 photos published in the paper...not bad at all!
The sudden change in my work schedual was due to once again having to deal with a new sports editor.... ARGH, the 4th in two and a half years! So this morning I get a call from the "new guy", turns out I know him, and unfortuanately he and I never got along as I also shoot occasionally for his old paper. The guy barely talked to me then so I doubt he will now. I was surprised though he knew what has been going on in my life since the tornado hit my place back in May of 08..... Odd, a lot of what he knew isn't known by too many people! I was also surprised he called me to let me know he was the new sports editor and had work for me already. The good thing is both of these guys there now can't shoot so I should get a lot more work, I just wonder how we will get along.....
