    Somebody say FOOTBALL...

Saturday was a great day to shot in my world. A nice early game start and lots of light. I'll probably have two of three post from that game but with limited time here is something of a theme post. Runners in The Open.

Hi OT looks like it was a fun day. Love the eyes in #2 and #4 is my favorite. Good theme. Can't wait till next week. Pop Warner starts, then Fryday night lights. Our HS just upgraded thier lighting and turf. Wish I could shot this age group in the daylight. I guess we just work with the opportunities we get. Good luck this season.

Thanks guys. Hope to get to a few more tonight. I got more keepers because of the great light than on most games.

Nice shots and great field position. I am so ready for some football, although our first varsity game isn't until Sept 5th. Boy I can't wait.

Your keeping my pumped up OT.

Not my intention Betty, but glad you like them. I'll try and get a few with some more grit in them done tonight and post. I think the first two are the 300mm and the last three are with the 80-200. I always shoot with two cameras the 300 was on the D2h and the zoom was attached to the D200.

    Re: Somebody say FOOTBALL...

These are some really awesome pictures. I live in South Alabama and all of our games are night games. I have maybe 30 minutes of good lighting before it gets dark. I have yet to find a field around here that has good lighting. It stinks!
