Hi,
I was shooting a Nikon D80 with Sigma APO 50-500mm F4-6.3 EX DG HSM attached. Given the slow nature of the lens, I was shooting Aperture Priority all day. My minimum was 1/640 sec. untill I went to panning mode where I dropped down quite a bit. I played with 1/50 thru 1/125 sec. for panning purposes. I was also using a monopod and sometimes just bracing the camera against a post or tree depending on locations.
Here's a shot captured at 1/50. The previous shot of the Jordon bike was at 1/125.
I'm new here, so can someone tell me how to make the photos stack, instead of spread across the screen. It's kink of annoying and I can't seem to find a way to correct it.
they are stacked vertically on my screen
it depends on how wide your monitor is, and if you let the browser have all of it
I have 1900x1200 and only let the browser have half...
I LOVE THESE! You got all my boys in them too!! I shot AMA at Barber in Alabama. Man, great racing and GREAT shots!! Very well done! You got a great shot of Yates (the Jordan bike) he is fun to shoot and loves the camera!

Thanks Lori,
I missed a great wheelie by Yates on the straight coming out of the key at Mid Ohio. He was almost vertical. We don't get a lot of wheelie action at Mid Ohio and I was kind of bummed. I was so far away, I just stood there and gawked in awe. I didn't even raise my camera.
I have a start to finish wheelie series by Yates on my site, best I have taken yet, check them out when you have time. I was track side when I shot them. I posted one here too I think. You got great shots!
