    Some basketball

Well it's that time of year again, and considering this is Indiana , your supposed to be basketball fans.
The past couple weekends have been like every other season except for one school pulling off a huge upset Friday night. The past two years this team has lost by 50 and 30 points to the other team, but somehow managed to finally win one 69-66 on a shot with 4 seconds to go. The way the team & fans reacted you'd have thought they just won the state championship. It was a huge win though, especially since it's been at least 7 years since they beat this team, and it was at the opponents home court. Going in they were 20 point underdogs to a much bigger (taller team).

An odd twist, Friday night one team name had Southeastern in it, and their nickname was Royals, then tonight it was another team was Southeastern and the other had the nickname Royals.

I like #2 and #3. It shows the intensity of the palyers. i think that shows the whole story. With the girls, them diving over each other for the ball is great.

I used to live in Indiana and my partner at work was a Mr Basketball (IN) and star on the IU team. I know how intense balsketball is in Indiana. It is equivalent to religion in some areas.

I was surprised by the red eye. Usually auxiliary flashes on the camera or on a bracket virtually eliminate that problem in digital shooting.

    Re: Some basketball

Nope, and I didn't do reyeye in PS....I was half asleep when I did these as I had a 32 hour work day. It was one of those days that went into the next day and included two basketball games, and going through 20,000 photos for a couple people. I had to go through 7 years of stuff to find all the photos of their kids. Needless to say it was a job, but it will pay off

With the 580EX you can reduce redeye with the modeling flash, but that doesn't help shooting sports, and I didn't use the bracket, which wouldn't have helped enough anyway.
